Late on Thursday, March 26th, UPS announced that they were suspending all service guarantees for all packages in their small packages division. Perishable products cannot be safely shipped without a service guarantee. La Casa Pizzaria Shipping will not be processing any orders that were not already placed prior to 12:01 a.m. March 27th. We are truly sorry for the disruption this causes and will return to services as soon as UPS reinstates service guarantees.

Do you guarantee delivery?

We guarantee delivery to the addresses we are given. Please note the following exceptions and guidelines:

  • We cannot ship any package to a post office box due to the perishable nature of our products.
  • We are also unable to ship to APO/FPO addresses or those outside of the continental US.
  • Rural route addresses must include box numbers and a phone number.
  • The accuracy of ship-to addresses and daytime telephone numbers for both the sender and recipient is your responsibility.

Do you ship internationally?

Shipping is available for the contiguous United States. La Casa does not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally.

I'm sending pizza to someone as a gift. Do you have any tips?

If sending a gift package, it is your responsibility to ensure that the people you are shipping to will be in town to care for a perishable package the day it is delivered. Due to the perishable nature of your gift, it would be unfortunate for your “surprise” to go unnoticed on the front porch and go bad. It is essential that someone be available to unpack and care for the perishable packages on the same day it’s delivered. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not require a recipient’s signature for delivery at single unit residences as long as the local UPS delivery driver feels that leaving the package will be safe from prying eyes. All packages contain enough dry ice to survive at least through the evening of their confirmed arrival date. Each order is shipped in reusable styrofoam container with dry ice. If dry ice remains in the cooler upon opening, handle with gloves as dry ice can burn skin.

When do orders ship?

All orders ship on Tuesdays. If we receive your order before Sunday at 3pm Central Time Zone, your order will ship in 2 days on that Tuesday. Any orders received after Sunday at 4pm Central Time Zone, we will ship in 9 days on Tuesday the following week.

How does La Casa handle damaged or delayed goods?

The Customer must file all freight claims with “U.P.S”  or “Freight Carrier. Should this occur, please contact us and we will assist you in every way possible.

Holiday Shipping Schedule

Last day to order La Casa shipped pizza for the Holidays (Christmas and New Year’s) is Sunday, December 8th by 3 p.m. CST. Those orders will ship December 10th.

Because of UPS’ 2019 Holiday shipping schedule and perishable claims policy, any shipping orders placed between 3 p.m. December 8th and 3 p.m. January 5th 2020 will ship on January 7th.  We apologize for the inconvenience this creates, but these conditions mean there can be no exceptions to this policy.  Thank you!
